The “climat” « Les Gravières » is located on the lower part of the hill, between Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay. It is the vastest Premier Cru, mostly flat, with sandy and gravel soils, hence its name, and rich in actif limestone.
Tasting notes:
The first impression in the mouth is intense, with smooth tanins and a great structure. During the long length, we can find dark fruit notes.
To be served at 14-16°C.
Ageing potential: 7-10 years.
